Are you a skilled and compassionate psychologist with experience in both mental health and clinical settings? The Victoria Clinic is seeking a dedicated psychologist to support inpatient programs and staff development.
About the Role:
You will provide clinical oversight and leadership to a multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed inpatient programs, specifically dual diagnosis. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring clinical excellence, supporting staff, and fostering a therapeutic environment for patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the design, delivery, and evaluation of evidence-based interventions.
* Provide supervision, support, and consultation to clinical staff within the program.
* Conduct clinical assessments, individual sessions, and group facilitation.
* Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.
* Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
* Supervise, manage, and work within the wellbeing and dual diagnosis programs, providing guidance, supervision, and management as clinical lead for these inpatient programs and staff.
About You:
* Registered Psychologist with AHPRA (Clinical endorsement)
* Clinical Board-approved supervisor
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and treatment modalities suited to comorbidity.
* Proven leadership skills and the ability to support and mentor a clinical team.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
* Desirable: Trained in Schema Therapy, DBT and/or EMDR.
