Job SummaryThe role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new service and maintenance business by offering solutions utilizing Gardner Denver’s product range and service capabilities. Additionally, the role will focus on accelerating key aftermarket opportunities and accounts within an assigned territory, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. New business development will be the primary focus, accounting for 70% of your time, with the remaining 30% dedicated to account/key account management.Key AccountabilitiesDetermine market possibilities for new aftermarket products, develop these opportunities, and expand the market for established products.Implement processes, initiatives, and roll out Gardner Denver service and spares programs. Sign service contracts with new customers and key accounts, and convert existing customers onto long-term service and maintenance plans.Establish Voice of Customer surveys to drive customer satisfaction and retention.Identify and evaluate aftermarket opportunities and understand customer requirements for industrial sales and aftermarket business units.Identify key accounts and targets; ensure effective account management and proactive targeting for additional service work in collaboration with local service managers.Maintain knowledge of market developments and accurately assess new business opportunities.Support Customer Service Manager, Sales Specialists, internal personnel, and external customers.Produce weekly/monthly reports for management.Perform other duties as assigned or required.Customer ManagementAssess current and planned customer needs; advise on suitable application of products/services, ensuring high customer satisfaction aligned with the company's Net Promoter Score (NPS).Assist and explain solutions when difficulties arise; follow up on complaints and ensure satisfactory resolutions.Maintain and develop close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are met wherever possible.Resolve customer complaints and disputes.QualitySupport company objectives in accordance with ISO 9001 quality accreditation.Environment, Health & SafetySupport company objectives related to environment, health, and safety.Ensure a safe working environment at all times, and that activities do not harm oneself or others.Eliminate risks through housekeeping, risk assessments, and collaboration with line managers to mitigate hazards.Lead safety risk assessments and audits.Implement safety procedures, including the correct operation of equipment and use of personal protective equipment.Other ResponsibilitiesPerform additional duties as assigned or required.CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient PC skills (SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, databases).Ability to meet deadlines and organize work priorities.Flexible, proactive attitude with a 'can-do' approach.Ability to work independently on initiatives.Willingness to travel as required.Experience in business development with a hunter mentality.Strong analytical skills.Target-oriented with a focus on achievement.Research skills and ability to engage prospective clients.Excellent organizational skills.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work under time constraints.
