Weather Forecaster Role
We are seeking a skilled Weather Forecaster to join our team. As a key member of our meteorology team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely weather forecasts and insights to our customers.
Your primary objective will be to monitor and analyze evolving weather and climate patterns, highlighting potential impacts for our clients. You will prepare and deliver forecasts, graphical products, and commentaries for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer audiences.
You will also provide customized meteorological briefings by phone or video conference and occasionally support media interviews. Additionally, you will proactively notify clients of significant weather events and ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and analyze weather and climate patterns, providing critical insights to our customers.
* Develop and deliver high-quality forecasts, graphical products, and commentaries for various audiences.
* Deliver tailored meteorological briefings and support media interactions as needed.
* Ensure timely notification of significant weather events and maintain high-quality deliverables.
To succeed in this role, you must stay up-to-date with the latest weather and climate trends, effectively communicating your findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to work collaboratively with our APAC Meteorology team is essential in achieving our goal of delivering exceptional forecasting services.
