Clayton Church Homes (CCH) has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Clinical Manager at our Woodside Lodge Facility.
Working as part of the Residential Aged Care Leadership Team and supported by the Residential Services Manager the Clinical Manager is responsible for leading a team of clinical and care staff in delivering person centred services to our residents living in our residential care homes.
The successful applicants will have relevant experience in all aspects of residential aged care, sound clinical knowledge, and a knowledge of aged care accreditation and funding requirements.
A background and passion for positive ageing, and strong leadership skills, will be an advantage for the roles.

Clinical Manager Responsibilities:
Provide services in line with CCH's commitment to person centred services and Aged Care standards, and actively participate and contribute to the ongoing continuous improvement planning for the organisation,
Accept accountability and responsibility for own standards of care, and the leadership of clinical and care staff.
Apply knowledge and skills that promote person centred services and align with evidence based best practice,
Develop and maintain cooperative, productive, and professional working relationships with all internal and external CCH stakeholders, including with residents and their families/representatives,
Work collaboratively with the Residential Services Manager and clinical and care staff to ensure that effective and efficient personal centred services and clinical care are provided in accordance with residents' needs and quality standards
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse Level 3
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
Personal Abilities/Skills
Effective leadership skills, including highly developed skills in critical thinking, communication, problem solving, performance management, and conflict resolution,
Provide clinical governance, leadership and training and development of clinical staff
Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible in leading service delivery
Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive person-centred care
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to contribute to quality improvement activities
Ability to identify and manage quality and clinical risk
Understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older people
Understanding of operational requirements within a residential aged care setting
Understanding and commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety
Knowledge of, and commitment to, maintaining compliance with clinical and aged care quality standards.
Experience
Significant experience in the management of a large aged care home including a memory support unit
Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of clinicia governance and nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice
Demonstrated experience in the use of electronic information systems to assist in the management of care and resident supports
Knowledge and Understanding
Relevant legislation, standards, codes, ethics and competency standards
Quality improvement systems within an aged care setting
Contemporary nursing and aged care service standards
The roles of clinical and care staff within an aged care setting
Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and Principles.
