Offer description

In this position you will beresponsible for the supervision and coordination of the daily work activities of an administration team, providing efficient and effective support to the Forensic Pathology and Coronial Services teams at Coronial and Public Health Sciences, Coopers Plains. You will ensure the team's compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures and agreed service specifications and performance standards.
What you'll do
Staffing and budget responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Team Leader, Business Support and Service Improvement
This position has no direct reports
To facilitate budget compliance by the efficient and effective use of resources.
Role model and promote professional competence, accountability and ethical behaviour. Be committed to the visions and values of the organisation and participate in organisational and cultural change as it relates to FPaCS staff and/or processes.
Review high quality documents and records to collate information as required.
Conduct timesheet audit processes for all FPaCS service teams
Assist the Team Leader with Recruitment and Onboarding activities for FPaCS as required.
Assist the Team Leader with advice and support in relation to the coordination of operational requirements of the team.
Mentor high quality, direct and respectful communication within the Coronial Administration Team and with the broader FPaCS staff team.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Demonstrated knowledge, or the ability to acquire knowledge, of the Coroners Act **** and the functions of the Coroners Court Queensland, with particular reference to how this guides FPaCS' roles and functions within the coronial system.
Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders at all levels with: integrity, tact, ethical conduct and confidentiality.
High attention to detail with experience in quality checking own and others work to ensure accuracy, procedures are followed, and a high level of quality is maintained.
Demonstrated high level administrative skills and the ability to maintain office systems using relevant software applications.
High level of commitment to contributing to a team culture that is respectful, equitable and supportive.
Ability to problem solve, prioritise tasks and work in a high-volume environment both autonomously and as a team member, to enhance organisational effectiveness and to meet strategic goals within a changing environment.
