Job Description
Nayyer Associates Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver (Concrete Agitator Driver) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating company vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring all goods are transported securely and delivered on schedule.
Position: CONCRETE AGITATOR TRUCK DRIVER (Full-Time)
Location: Perth, Naval Base 6165
Salary: $77,000 - $83,000 per annum ($37-$40 per Hour)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading.
* Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices.
* Observing all relevant safety requirements during loading and unloading.
* Conducting regular quality and safety checks on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
* Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe weight distribution.
* Ensuring goods are properly stowed and securely covered to prevent loss or damage.
* Verifying loading documents, inspecting the condition of goods, and obtaining certification of deliveries.
* Safely operate agitator trucks to deliver concrete to various locations.
* Follow prescribed delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries to construction sites.
* Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
* Comply with all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines, both on the road and at job sites.
* Provide excellent customer service, building positive relationships with clients.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and paperwork.
About You
* Valid and clean HR driver's license.
* Proven experience as a professional driver with minimum 6 months on road HR experience, ideally with experience (however not essential) in operating agitator trucks.
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
* Physical ability to load and unload concrete as necessary.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
* A strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices.
* Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
* Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical.
* Willing to undertake pre-employment training/induction.
Successful applicant will be required to complete required induction including a medical and alcohol and drug testing.
Requirements
* Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck Licence.
* Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) OR at least one year of relevant work experience.
* Strong understanding of workplace safety.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
