Job Title: Human Resources Specialist
Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support across a range of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, remuneration, performance management, learning and development, workforce planning, workplace health and safety, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and administer HR operations to ensure the effective delivery of services.
* Support recruitment selection onboarding and exit processes.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies procedures and documentation.
* Provide advice to managers and staff on HR matters and compliance with relevant legislation.
* Support performance management job evaluation and staff development initiatives.
* Contribute to WHS activities and workplace wellbeing initiatives.
* Prepare and manage employment contracts and correspondence.
* Provide backup support for payroll processing.
* Assist with HR data management reporting and project work.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or a related field or equivalent relevant experience may be considered. At least three years' experience in a HR generalist role is required. Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices procedures and relevant legislation is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
