Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled security professional to provide a high level of security service and support to our clients. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular patrols of the site to deter and prevent any potential security risks.
* Monitor access control points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the site.
* Respond promptly to emergency situations and take necessary actions to resolve them.
* Perform routine checks on security equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, including reporting and submitting incident reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* A valid QLD drivers licence is required.
* You will need to hold a current QLD Security Licence - unarmed security officer as a minimum.
* Security Licence can be funded by us where a return of service agreement is entered.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate is also a requirement.
* Willingness to or hold Certification to collect specimens for drug of abuse testing (HLTPAT005) would be beneficial.
* Availability to work a rotational roster consisting of day, night and weekends is essential.
* Intermediate level in Microsoft Office applications is also a desirable skill.
