The Role
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Educational Assistant to join the Malvern Campus on a part time (Monday – Friday 8:15am to 1:15pm), 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive and collegial team effectively supporting the teaching and learning experiences in the classroom and contributing to our junior School community.
Key Duties
Work collaboratively with teachers and other assistants in the development and implementation of a student-centred learning program
Use strategies based on knowledge of students' physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning
Maintain daily written documentation on relevant behaviour and learning as required
Contribute to the Junior School community
Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
Skills And Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team
Motivated, enthusiastic and a self-starter
Excellent communication skills
Hard working and professional
Minimum Certificate III in Educational Support or equivalent (including students in their final year of a teaching degree)
Experience supporting the differentiation of the curriculum within the Primary environment
Hold a current employment Working With Children Check
