About the Role As a Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding sensitive clinical and patient data by designing, implementing, and supporting core security infrastructure. Your work will help protect critical systems, improve incident response capabilities, and embed a secure-by-design approach. Key Responsibilities Manage and continuously improve our cyber security infrastructure, including SIEM, EDR, DLP, firewalls, and secure remote access tools. Lead or support investigations of security incidents, coordinating timely and effective responses to minimise disruption to healthcare services. Perform regular vulnerability scans, security assessments, and help drive remediation efforts in collaboration with clinical and operational stakeholders. Contribute to cloud security efforts (Azure/AWS), ensuring that healthcare applications and infrastructure remain compliant and secure. Work closely with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to support the secure design of digital health solutions and manage cyber risks proactively. Help maintain compliance with relevant healthcare security and privacy frameworks About You To succeed in this healthcare-focused role, you will bring: 3 years of experience in cyber security engineering or operations. Strong understanding of data protection, threat detection, and cloud security. Hands-on experience with tools like Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Palo Alto, or similar platforms. Scripting or automation capabilities to streamline security operations. A collaborative mindset with the ability to partner effectively.
