The role of a maintenance supervisor is pivotal in delivering high-quality property services, ensuring facilities are well-maintained to meet regulatory standards and resident expectations.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing support for repairs and maintenance across various activities
* Identifying and executing preventative maintenance, repair, and improvement works in line with schedules
* Participating and leading continuous improvement or corrective activities related to care home facilities
* Assisting in the development of plans for repair and maintenance and monitoring actual utilization
* Managing the work of maintenance, cleaning, and laundry staff across shifts in consideration of dining requirements
The ideal candidate will possess formal qualifications at post-trade or advanced certificate level, relevant skills training, or experience, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable qualities include experience in property maintenance, building works, occupational health and safety, and independent problem-solving.
