Job Description

Who Are CPP?

CPP is a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider, connecting renewable energy projects to Australia's electricity grid.

As a member of Quanta Services, a Fortune 200 company, we specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.

Established in 1996, we've connected more wind farms and renewable batteries than any other company. With over 700 employees and offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, we partner with Australia's major transmission providers to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions.

Join us in shaping the future of energy.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Quality Advisor to join our national PMO team. In this centralised role, you'll support the implementation and continuous improvement of inspection and testing systems, ensuring practical, consistent application across our high-voltage infrastructure projects.

Working closely with our Engineering, Project Delivery, and Construction teams, you'll embed quality into every stage of the project lifecycle - from planning and design, through to site execution and commissioning.

Based in one of our offices with travel to site around 2 weeks per month, this is a high-impact, highly collaborative role that gives you the opportunity to influence how Australia's future energy assets are delivered.

Key responsibilities:

- Drive the standardisation and continual improvement of inspection and testing processes across projects
- Support project teams in the setup and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Certificates (ITCs)
- Conduct internal and supplier audits, reviews, and system health checks
- Champion non-conformance and root cause analysis processes
- Deliver training and guidance to project teams to uplift quality capability and embed best practices
- Influence a strong quality culture across both office and site environments

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- 3+ years' experience in quality, ideally on high voltage energy or civil infrastructure projects from either a project based or centralised function role
- Recognised qualifications in Quality Management or a related field
- Certified or qualified quality auditor, with demonstrated experience planning and conducting audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent
- Practical experience developing and implementing ITPs, ITCs, and inspection/testing systems
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, and familiarity with AS3000, AS3600 and AS4100
- Ability to travel regularly to project sites and regional offices (approx. 2 weeks/month)
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
- Previous experience planning and coordinating audits (ISO 14001 / 45001), using quality management platforms (e.g. Fulcrum, InEight), and PowerBI for reporting are highly desirable
