ICMM Development Officer Job Description
The Australian National Maritime Museum is seeking an experienced and efficient ICMM Development Officer with strong planning and program delivery to join the Fleet team in this non-ongoing position.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the ICMM Congress hosted by the Museum in September. The Congress will feature formal presentations, talks, and workshops, as well as a diverse program of social activities. You will work closely with the Assistant Director, Fleet and Collections, to ensure that the Museum's specific tasks outlined in the MOU with the International Congress of Maritime Museums are realised.
Key Accountabilities:
* Manage and deliver operational matters relating to the ICMM Congress to a high standard.
* Collaborate with the ICMM Secretariat to generate content for the ICMM newsletter and contribute to the Congress program.
* Develop delegate information packs, name badges, and Congress 'swag'.
* Organize transport, liaise with host institutions, arrange for volunteers to accompany delegates, and catering.
* Ensure that the Congress arrangements and materials are delivered in a timely fashion and within budget.
