Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a highly motivated Resource Recovery Attendant to join their well-developed team providing exceptional customer service and waste management to the local community. This is a hands-on role where you will undertake a range of labouring and maintenance duties at the Council’s waste facilities. Although these roles are based from Emerald there may be times you are required to travel between various sites across the region. There is opportunity to work a rotating roster which allows for fantastic work life balance.
Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service to the public
- Undertaking physical tasks for the operation and maintenance of the waste transfer facilities
- Operating mobile plant equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum Queensland HR (HR) class driver’s licence
- General Construction Induction Card
- Statement of attainment or ticket for Integrated Tool Carrier (IT Loader) or ability to obtain within 3 months of commencement
- Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control (ACDC) statement of attainment and Commercial Operators Licence (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to operate waste management plant and equipment on a daily basis
