Overview
Trades Assistants role at GHS Solutions, Geraldton, WA. GHS Solutions has an exciting opportunity for experienced Trades Assistants for ongoing site works on mine sites in and around the Geraldton region and in our Workshop. You will be assisting trades such as Boilermakers, Blast and Painters, Poly Welders and Scaffolders.
Responsibilities
- Assist trades on mining site projects and in the workshop with appropriate tasks as directed, including support to Boilermakers, Blast and Painters, Poly Welders and Scaffolders.
- Work as part of a professional team with opportunities to advance.
Licences and Certifications
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current Police Clearance (obtained within the past 6 months)
- Forklift (preferred)
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
Other Abilities
- Practical experience working alongside a Blast and Paint crew, Boilermaker, Poly Welder or Scaffolder
- Competent use of hand tools such as an angle grinder and drill
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Mining experience highly preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
