Design Manager Location: Sydney or Melbourne Salary: $250k - $350k depending on person Overview MCR are seeking an electrically qualified design leader to oversee the design of large, hyperscale data centre facilities Working directly for a newly created data centre operator who shortly to commence construction on the first phase of a 400MW campus in Melbourne, this role will see you operating as the in country lead for the design Setting the scope for the consultants, you'll oversee the process of consultant selection and ongoing management through this and subsequent projects. Key Requirements - Electrical engineer - 3 years' data centre experience - Multidisciplinary design experience, with electrical as a core focus - Ability to lead, guide and build a team - Willing and able to travel on occasion This is a unique opportunity to join a developer in their early stages of building a world class team.
