About the Role
As a dedicated and compassionate individual, you will provide personalized support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Your duties may include assisting with daily tasks, providing companionship, and offering emotional support.
You will work closely with our team to understand each client's unique needs and develop a care plan that suits their requirements. This role requires patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities.
* Prepare simple meals and snacks for clients, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
* Assist clients with mobility and transfer tasks, using equipment such as walkers or wheelchairs as needed.
* Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any concerns or changes to the care team.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
* Experience working in aged care or disability support is highly desirable.
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
