Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and manage the Practice Manager and Medical Practitioners (non-clinical management). Your core focus will include:Strategic & Financial Leadership: Develop and execute business plans, oversee budgets, resource allocation, and annual financial audits. You will also identify capital developments and property projects while pursuing grant opportunities (e.g., RDN, Coordinare).People, Culture & HR: Lead a high-performance culture, overseeing the full HR lifecycle. You will serve as the primary liaison for medical staff and contractors, ensuring professional and contractual needs are met.Compliance, Risk & Quality: Maintain robust governance and risk management frameworks. You will ensure strict adherence to healthcare legislation, IR/Fair Work regulations, and accreditation standards.Infrastructure & Innovation: Drive the adoption of innovative IT solutions to enhance clinical governance and operational performance. You will also oversee physical infrastructure and represent the practice in high-level external forums.
What You BringWe are looking for an autonomous leader with a proven track record in high-stakes leadership and change management.Qualifications: A relevant tertiary degree (e.g., Law, Commerce, Business, or Health Administration) or a Diploma in Practice Management.Expertise: Proven success in organisational transformation and managing complex stakeholder relationships (PHNs, RACGP, Universities).Technical Savvy: High IT literacy with the ability to leverage technology to drive performance and optimise workflows.Communication: Exceptional public speaking skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the healthcare sector.
