Job Description
* Develop new healthy snack formulations from concept to final product.
* Conduct hands‐on benchtop formulation, prototype development, and optimisation.
* Analyse ingredient interactions including proteins, fibres, sweeteners, binders, fats, and functional additives.
* Lead lab testing including texture analysis, water activity, stability, and shelf‐life validation.
* Manage sensory evaluations and formulate products based on results and feedback.
* Ensure compliance with nutritional, regulatory, and quality standards working closely with the QA & Regulatory Manager.
* Work closely with co‐manufacturers across APAC to scale products from lab to production and provide technical support during trials.
* Manage multiple NPD projects and collaborate with Marketing, Quality, Operations, and Procurement.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation, formulations, and project records.
Successful Product Developer Should Have
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in product development ideally within snacks, bakery, or functional foods.
* Strong understanding of protein systems, carbohydrates, binders, and functional ingredients.
* Strong hands‐on laboratory and bench top formulation experience.
* Previous experience collaborating with third‐party manufacturers.
* Excellent project management, communication, and problem‐solving skills.
* A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and healthier food product development.
* Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
