About The Role
As a Pharmacist, you will deliver high-quality, comprehensive and cost-effective pharmacy services to both inpatients and outpatients, supporting safe and effective medication use across the service. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will optimise drug therapy, contribute to overall medication management, and provide trusted therapeutic advice in line with SA Health guidelines, hospital policies, and State and Federal legislation.

In this role, you will undertake medication histories, review and assess medication therapy daily, and develop clear medication action plans to support continuity of care. You will exercise professional judgement and autonomy in dispensing, monitor and optimise drug therapies, supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants, and provide patient counselling and medicines information. You will also contribute to education, quality improvement, research activities, and reporting, helping to advance safe, evidence-based pharmacy practice across the service.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will meet the essential minimum requirements and bring a patient-centred, professional approach to pharmacy practice within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

* Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) with registration or eligibility for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively or use initiative when required
* Well-developed organisational and technical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
* Sound knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice, dispensing procedures, medicines legislation and patient counselling
