We don’t take ourselves too seriously — but we do take our work seriously.What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day· Providing practical HR advice to managers and employees· Managing WorkCover and injury claims across multiple states· Supporting full-cycle recruitment – ads, shortlisting, interviews, offers, reference checks· Drafting employment contracts and managing onboarding· Supporting managers with performance and disciplinary processes· Assisting with large-scale workforce mobilisations· Ensuring compliance with employment law, policy, and best practice· Helping out wherever it’s needed — because that’s how we operate as a team· There will also be the opportunity to travel interstate if/when required.About YouYou’re not just good with people — you get people. You bring a solid foundation of HR experience and can confidently navigate a range of situations, from everyday advice to more complex HR issues. Ideally, you’ll bring:· 2–3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role· Knowledge of employment legislation, recruitment, and workers compensation· Experience handling HR matters and supporting leaders· Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect at all levels· Strong time management and multitasking abilities· A team-focused attitude — someone who’s happy to jump in and help· A practical, down-to-earth mindset and a sense of humourBonus points if you’ve worked in a blue-collar or similar industry before!
