Job Description:
Operate dishwashing machinery to ensure crockery and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain food storage areas, ensuring that freezers and refrigerators are organized and properly stored.
* Assist with receiving and storing goods in a timely and efficient manner.
* Facilitate the reporting of workplace hazards to management for corrective action.
* Support the chef and kitchen team in basic food preparation, including cutting, peeling, and washing ingredients.
* Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Requirements:
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and collaborating effectively with the kitchen team and other staff members.
* Exceptional attitude and proactive mindset.
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
