Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Site Engineer. The candidate will be based in Melbourne, VIC, with a mix of on-site presence and Head Office. The Site Engineer will oversee and manage site activities to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Responsibilities include supervising construction work, managing quality control, supporting structural and civil engineering tasks, and maintaining clear communication between project teams and stakeholders. The Site Engineer will also ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
* Strong on-site supervision and project management skills with the ability to oversee and coordinate daily construction activities effectively.
* Proficiency in civil engineering principles and practices related to construction projects.
* Demonstrated ability to manage quality control processes to ensure high standards of work and compliance with specifications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
* Familiarity with construction safety regulations and practices is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in relevant engineering and project management software is an advantage.
