What does the job look like?
As the DC Manager, you will oversee the operations of our Wodonga Distribution Centre, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of products to our customers. Your leadership will be critical in optimising processes, driving continuous improvement, and maximising commercial outcomes. You will also be responsible for financial performance, safety compliance, and team development, ensuring the success of our operations. Key areas:
1. Establishing and maintains an efficient and cost-effective warehouse team to ensure that the Linfox contracted outcomes are achieved in the most safe, timely, efficient and cost-effective manner to both Linfox and the customer.
2. Maintain a focus on continuous improvement of warehouse operations through developing, reviewing and updating warehouse procedures and associated business procedures and practices.
3. Oversee the management and performance of all aspects of DC
4. Ensure the timely delivery of regular reports through the various reporting systems
5. Ensure all safety incidents are reported, recorded and investigated appropriately where required
6. Acting in accordance with LIFT values and ensuring other Linfox employees do the same.

Strong leadership skills are essential, as you will be responsible for mentoring your team, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving continuous improvements. You can demonstrate:
7. Previous experience in similar role within the warehousing or transport sector
8. Demonstrated Leadership skills in Safety, Quality Management and Compliance
9. Excellence in stakeholder engagement, building rapport and maintaining close key relationships
10. Strong focus on process improvement and cost control
11. Leadership excellence and the ability to enhance, develop and motivate great teams
12. Excellent knowledge in Microsoft (Excel, Power Point etc) and WMS Systems
