About the Role
As State Sales Manager – SA, you will lead and coach a team of 4-5 Territory Managers across metropolitan and regional South Australia. You'll be accountable for state-based revenue targets, customer growth, and execution of the sales strategy.
This role is suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, customer-centric environment and brings a mix of team leadership, commercial insight, and frontline sales capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and support a team of Territory Managers to deliver sales targets and drive customer retention
* Manage state P&L, including forecasting, reporting and profitability
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers across QSR, accommodation, and licensed venues
* Support the team in major account negotiations and tenders
* Drive new business acquisition and margin improvement initiatives
* Partner cross-functionally with operations, quoting, customer service and procurement teams
* Champion a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and customer success
* Track, measure and report on KPIs, team performance and pipeline health
About You
* Essential: Prior experience in a senior BDM or sales leadership role,
* Essential: Sales experience in commercial hospitality OR foodservice
* Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing sales teams
* Strong commercial acumen with a focus on revenue, margin, and strategic account growth
* Ability to build trust with both internal teams and external clients
* Comfortable balancing hands-on leadership with high-level strategic input
* Highly organised and results-driven, with strong follow-through
