Private Business Services Manager – Chartered Accountants & Corporate Advisors
Located within minutes of Wynyard Station, our firm (established in 1956) is a leading Chartered Accountants and Corporate Advisors practice. We provide accounting and taxation, audit, financial planning and SMSF services to a diverse client base. We are seeking a Private Business Services Manager to lead and manage a portfolio of SME and private clients.
Qualifications & Experience
CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 7+ years’ experience in business services and taxation within a professional practice.
Strong technical knowledge across accounting standards and taxation matters.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver timely, practical advice to private businesses, family groups and high-net-worth individuals.
Experience in delegating, managing and reviewing the work of assisting staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with MYOB AE, Xero, and other cloud accounting software.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of private business and family group clients across a range of industries.
Review and finalise financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT, and other compliance obligations.
Provide planning and advisory services required.
Assist with practice development including client proposals and advisory projects.
Build strong client relationships and act as the key contact point for day-to-day queries.
Identify opportunities to add value to clients through proactive tax and business advice.
Ensure quality control and compliance with professional and firm standards.
