Venue Support Officer - Temp Contract (3-4 Months), 30 hours per week, $35.00 per hour
Facilities Officer - Temp Contract (4-6 weeks), 20 + hours per week, $32.00 + per hour
**Your new company**
You will be working with a thriving local council based in the South Eastern suburbs or Eastern Suburbs
**Your new role**
Tasks may include:
- Set up and dismantle of furniture and room layout as per user requirements.
- Set up equipment and audiovisual aids as required.
- Customer liaison with users of the community venues.
- Assist in the supervision of staff.
- Provide on-the-job training to staff.
- Provide general administration and computer support to administration team
- Contribute to ensuring good maintenance and safety of the community venues.
- Cleaning of venues and associated equipment as required.
- Support the Community Venues Operations Supervisor in maintaining an appropriate stock of cleaning materials at the community venues.
- Undertake minor maintenance of equipment / furniture at the community venues
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong customer service skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise work
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
- Can do attitude and willingness to learn new things
- Working with Children's Check (preferred)
