Lead communications for a major business area in Australia, overseeing the country's communication strategy. Report to the Global Business Line Communications and Marketing Manager and contribute to business success through strategic marketing initiatives. Act as local spokesperson for Australia, developing and implementing an overarching communication strategy, working closely with the business communications network.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a communications strategy for the Process Automation business in Australia, targeting key industries such as mining, pulp & paper, and energy.
* Enhance brand visibility in Australia through strategic campaigns.
* Generate engaging content, translate complex information into appealing messages, and create online and offline materials.
* Manage media relations, identifying opportunities and issues, and crafting press releases.
* Identify and implement customer experience initiatives driving business growth, satisfaction, and engagement.
* Coordinate crisis communication plans at a country level, safeguarding brand identity, corporate design, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
* Senior communications or marketing experience in a global organization with 12+ years of expertise.
* Strong marketing automation skills and experience managing martech stacks.
* Effective project management skills, handling multiple large and complex projects under time pressure.
* Preferred degree in marketing, communications, or relevant fields, or equivalent experience.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities are mandatory.
* Strong team player with influential and change management skills.
