Responsibilities
- Take responsibility to ensure all aspects of patient care are of the highest standard.
- Lead the unit as a key, accountable, autonomous nurse; act in the best interest of the patient and take personal responsibility for actions and decisions.
- Be responsible for patient assessment, planning of care, giving and supervising secure and compassionate care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
- Lead and support team members and report to the clinical manager.
- Join a team of professionals dedicated to safe, holistic nursing care to achieve optimal outcomes.
What You Bring
- Post graduate qualification in Peri-operative Nursing (not essential)
- Recent clinical experience in Peri-operative Nursing
- AHPRA Registration
- Ability to work unsupervised during periods of high demand and provide clinical leadership
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Desire to join a mission-based organization committed to care of others
- Desire to share experiences and participate in future growth and staff education within the Peri-operative unit
