Job Title: General Services Officer
The Opportunity
At Ramsay Health Care's Port Macquarie Private Hospital, we cater to a wide range of nutritious meals for our patients. Our Catering team thrives on delivering exceptional customer service in line with our Ramsay Core Values. We have multiple casual roles available.
This role will involve:
* Preparing high standard, nutritious cold larder sandwiches, salads, and desserts for private hospital patients and doctors.
* Maintaining food hygiene, a clean working area, and safety practices.
* Assisting the broader team as required.
* Availability across a 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will also be punctual, reliable, and committed to genuine, friendly customer service.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Previous experience in a prep kitchen or hospital environment (desirable).
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
* Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety, and Workplace, Health, and Safety.
* Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable).
