The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney.Project scope includes :Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each directionCivil Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnelsSurface level work including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah FreewayIn line with the above ACCIONA is now seeking a Site Engineer to join the Western Harbour Tunnel Stage 2 Project.
You will support operations out at our Precast facility at Emu Plains.Specific Tasks IncludeEnsure that the scope is delivered within the allotted time and budgetAssist in planning material resources and systems usage for successful cost-effective and best-practice project completionMaintain documentation and systems for quality safety environmental considerationsManage cost control for segment productionSupervise mentor and support Graduate EngineersQualifications and ExperienceBachelors degree in civil engineering (or similar)Demonstrated experience in a similar rolePrecast experience would be highly beneficialProblem-solving and analytical skillsWell-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of stakeholdersHigh attention to detailACCIONA has been given the Top Employer& **** certification in Australia which certifies the companys commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
