The successful candidate will blend delicate flavours while meeting strict dietary, nutrition, and hydration needs, ensuring safe, exceptional service in a fast-paced kitchen.
Dining is often the social heart of our residents' day, and you'll play a key role in making it a highlight.
* Manage special diets and fulfill resident wishes
* Work closely with the Chef Manager to prepare, present, and serve high-quality meals
* Ensure safe, exceptional service in a fast-paced kitchen
This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or working towards)
* 2+ years' experience as a Chef/Cook
* Proven ability to lead a busy kitchen with multiple staff
* Strong communication and staff development focus
* Knowledge of hygiene practices
* Empathy for elderly residents and their families
* Positive attitude and teamwork ethos
