This 15-month contract is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Team Lead to step into a large, high-performing team within a nationally recognised organisation that has been awarded Best Place to Work multiple years in a row.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will lead a team of payroll officers responsible for end‐to‐end payroll processing:
* Oversee the accurate, on‐time processing of high‐volume fortnightly payrolls
* Manage day‐to‐day team workflow and ensure deadlines are consistently met
* Handle escalated payroll queries, providing timely and accurate resolution
* Process end‐to‐end payroll tasks including new starters, terminations, deductions, adjustments, superannuation and award‐based changes
* Support the Payroll Manager with reconciliation, EOFY processes and system improvements
About you:
* Experience in high-volume payroll
* Strong leadership, coaching or mentoring capabilities
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Solid understanding of payroll legislation, awards and compliance
