Life Changing Work in Arnhem Land: Physiotherapy & Pilates Team Lead

Location: East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia

Job Opportunity

We have an amazing opportunity for a Physiotherapist and Pilates team lead looking for a simpler life living in beautiful Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, passionate about helping people and wanting an adventure travelling throughout communities empowering people unlock their potential. Join our multidisciplinary Allied health team and discover some of the most untouched places in Australia, as you travel by road or small planes to visit homes and Indigenous communities across Arnhem land.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments with a focus on understanding the cultural, physical, and emotional needs of patients, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, including treatment plans and progress notes, with sensitivity to cultural factors; provide therapy services, including exercises and activities, to promote health and independence.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques to support patients in improving or recovering their abilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, within our multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead and support the Physiotherapy and Pilates team through clinical mentoring, supervision, onboarding, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adapt therapy plans based on patient progress, attending conferences and meetings to discuss treatment.
  • Engage with clients in remote Indigenous communities to deliver culturally respectful care.
  • Facilitate safe, engaging, and culturally respectful individual and group Pilates classes tailored to participants' needs, while monitoring progress, adapting programs accordingly, and promoting strength, mobility, confidence, and overall wellbeing.

Salary & Benefits

Base Salary + Superannuation (Full-time, HP Level 3.1 – 3.5): $112,711 – $125,496 base rate + superannuation

Total salary package: $126,236 – $140,555

Plus:

  • $5,000 sign‐on bonus
  • Up to $10,000 relocation assistance (via NTPHN)

About You

  • Can you work confidently and autonomously as an NDIS Therapy provider?
  • Do you have Pilates experience?

Eligibility

This role is only open to candidates currently based in Australia, with NDIS experience and AHPRA Registration.
