Guest Experience Specialist
Deliver exceptional guest experiences by creating personalized service and contributing to hotel sales through persuasive upselling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create an unforgettable arrival experience for guests, checking them in with a smile and thorough knowledge of the Infor HMS system.
* Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork, helping colleagues during busy times to maintain a consistent, high-quality experience.
* Upsell room upgrades, late checkouts, minibar items, and other hotel products and services to enhance guest stays.
* Maintain a well-presented front desk and assist in keeping the hotel clean and organized.
* Attend training and development sessions to continually grow your skills and stay updated on industry trends.
* Build meaningful connections with guests, offering insightful local knowledge and ensuring their needs are met with care and attention.
* Uphold confidentiality and security standards, following procedures for cash handling, guest privacy, and key control.
Requirements:
* Passion for hospitality with a genuine desire to deliver top-notch guest service.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude.
* Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and a good memory for names and faces.
* Up-to-date local knowledge about Brisbane and its attractions.
* Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, but a can-do attitude is most important.
