**Your day to day**
As a Human Resources Manager, you will collaborate with the General Manager and the leadership team on all people-related initiatives: - Drive the People Agenda and ensure all HR Operations in the hotel are aligned to the Global and Australasia people strategies and the hotel's strategic business plan. - Support the General Manager and Operational leaders to enable the delivery of business results to meet IHG performance targets. - Create programme's to foster a positive work environment for all employees. - Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and hotel or company policies and procedures. - Drive talent resourcing and increase leadership effectiveness in recruitment principles and system capability. Identify and analyse local compensation and benefits practices to ensure financial competitiveness. - Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community and promote team member involvement in the local community
**What we need from you**:
- 2 years' working experience in HR with leadership capability - Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people and motivate a productive working relationship. - Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent - Professional HR designation preferred - Ability to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible in all HR-related matters
