Rehabilitation Consultant Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide vocational counseling and assessment services for individuals with disabilities or injuries. This role involves conducting assessments, capacity support services, health coaching, and treating case conferences.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough vocational assessments to determine individual capabilities and goals.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients to achieve successful outcomes.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and employers to facilitate return-to-work initiatives.
* Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans tailored to each client's needs.
Requirements
* Qualifications in an allied health field such as Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, or Osteopathy.
* Full registration with AHPRA or other relevant governing bodies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Empathy and compassion to work effectively with clients.
* A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred.
