ABMARC has a casual on track automotive vehicle testing position available.
It is a test support and video editing position working onsite at the Australian
Automotive Research Centre (ARRC) in Wensleydale, Victoria.
This position will be working 4 days a week from Thursday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be part of a ream that conducts performance tests on driver safety assist technologies.
- Ensure test equipment is prepared and fit for testing.
- Conduct pre-test safety assessments and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
- Flying drones to capture vehicle testing.
- Video editing of test footage
- Troubleshoot and resolve test equipment faults.
- Issue management and resolution.
Essential:
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities, particularly with IoT devices.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Strong safety mindset and systematic approach to work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft ice and related software.
Desirable:
- Drone flying experience.
- Video editing on Mac computer software
