The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant or emerging Manager who is ready to take ownership of a client portfolio while stepping into a leadership and mentoring capacity. You’ll be responsible for: Managing a portfolio of high-quality clients across various industries Reviewing financial statements and tax returns Providing tax planning and advisory services Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members Attending management meetings and contributing to firm-wide decisions Building and maintaining strong client relationships About You 6 years’ experience in Australian public practice CA/CPA qualified (or near completion) Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance Experience managing or reviewing staff (or readiness to step into this) Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills Experience with cloud-based systems (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, etc.) What’s on Offer Clear pathway into leadership with real influence over firm operations Direct exposure to Directors and involvement in management meetings 1-day WFH per week CA/CPA fees paid upfront Strong focus on training, development, and technical growth Modern systems including Xero (XPM & Blue), MYOB, QuickBooks, Reckon, and BGL Annual conference away, quarterly functions, and regular social events Transparent communication and regular firm performance updates Flexible salary aligned with your experience and level This opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to move beyond pure compliance and step into a role where they can lead, influence, and grow within a progressive and supportive firm.
