About the Role:
As a Deli / Shop Floor Assistant, you'll be responsible for preparing fresh food, slicing meats and cheeses, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly, efficient service to our customers at the deli counter.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and presenting deli items such as cold meats, salads, and ready-to-eat meals
* Operating slicing machines and food preparation equipment safely
* Serving customers with a smile and offering product recommendations
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness
* Assisting with stock rotation, labelling, and merchandising

* Prior experience working in a deli, café, or food service environment
* Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented attitude
* A focus on food safety and cleanliness
* Must be available for Evening Shifts and Weekends
* Reliability and a good work ethic
