Our client is a trusted supplier of industrial tools and supplies, proudly serving customers across Darwin and beyond with high-quality products and exceptional service. They are currently seeking experienced Sales & Marketing Officers to join their Berrimah-based premises on a temporary ongoing basis commencing immediately
Position Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service and product expertise while supporting marketing & administrative functions in a dynamic showroom environment. You will be working with a wide range of industrial tools and supplies and your knowledge and interest will be key to your success.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Delivering excellent customer service, including counter, online, and telephone sales, while addressing queries and feedback professionally.
• Providing accurate product knowledge to customers to assist with their purchasing decisions.
• Undertaking general showroom duties such as presenting stock, cleaning, stocking, and administrative tasks.
• Record management, including filing, documentation, and data entry as required.
• Marketing duties including website maintenance and preparation and management of email campaigns (training and guidance provided)
• May be required to deliver supplies to local customers around Darwin.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
What you need to succeed:
• Previous sales experience or relevant trade experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Experience in working in an administrative or office environment.
• Knowledge of industrial tools and supplies.
• Current unrestricted NT Driver licence.
• Current national police check or ability to obtain.
• Forklift licence (highly desirable)
