Techforce Recruitment is partnering with our client to source experienced Senior Project Managers for a contract opportunity based in Brisbane or Melbourne. This role is ideal for a highly capable delivery professional with proven experience managing large, complex projects in enterprise environments and working across diverse stakeholder groups. Key Responsibilities Accountable for meeting project milestones, objectives, and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets Develop, maintain, and deliver fit-for-purpose project management plan s, including progress reporting Ensure appropriate alignment and allocation of resources Identify, engage, influence, and negotiate with key internal and external stakeholders, including vendors Work closely with project owners and sponsors to ensure outcomes meet business requirements Monitor project actuals, forecasts, and benefits against budget allocation Effectively manage risks through detailed mitigation strategies and contingency plans Regularly monitor, control, and escalate risks and issues as required Understand current IT systems and processes to ensure change management is appropriately tailored Ensure project design and delivery aligns with broader business unit plans Skills & Experience Required Tertiary qualifications in IT and/or Business (Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field) Project Management certification and significant delivery experience across both Agile and traditional methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, PMBOK, PRINCE2) Extensive and continuous experience in project management with recent, proven experience as a Senior Project Manager Demonstrated experience leading large, complex projects, including strong leadership and team management capability Extensive experience using project management tools, lifecycles, and methodologies Proven ability to collaborate effectively across the organisation and externally, building relationships based on trust, integrity, and credibility Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver targeted business outcomes Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience working on complex projects involving IBM Maximo, Oracle CC&B, or Oracle Historian (highly desirable) Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects within the utilities industry (electricity, water, gas or related sectors) is highly regarded.
