Fire Safety Specialist Role
As a Fire Safety Specialist, you will play a vital role in protecting people, property and the environment within your local community. This dynamic role requires individuals with excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, physical fitness, and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a wide range of duties including fire safety inspections, attending fires and other emergencies, and educating communities on fire prevention and safety practices.
* Collaborate with emergency services such as Ambulance, Rural Fire Service, and Police to ensure effective response to emergencies.
Requirements:
* A valid Driver's Licence is mandatory for this role.
* Citizenship or permanent residency in Australia or New Zealand is required.
* Living and/or working within a reasonable distance of the designated Fire Station is essential.
Training and Development:
* Ongoing training provided to cover all aspects of firefighting and rescue operations, basic life support, rope work, power tool use, and community engagement skills.
