Job Description
The Breeder Rearing Farm Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating breeder rearing operations to deliver a safe, profitable, compliant, and sustainable business.
This position involves coordinating all farm activities to achieve short and long-term business objectives, ensuring appropriately trained staff are available for specialist tasks, undertaking serological monitoring, and administering medications as required.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all farm administration duties are performed in accordance with established guidelines, including the completion of relevant reports and documentation within specified timeframes.
This is a full-time permanent position that requires working some weekends. The ideal candidate will work together with a small experienced team and report directly to the Breeder Operations Manager.

Our 6-shed Killarney rearing farm is located near Warwick, offering a stunning view of Queen Mary Falls and surrounds.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous poultry industry experience is mandatory.
* Strong knowledge of animal welfare standards, legislative obligations, and health, safety, and environment policies and procedures.
* Self-motivation, effective time management skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage and direct staff.
