Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining a business development system that leads to a sustainable pipeline of work.
* Leading, managing, and executing tender responses and all proposals for work above a set threshold.
* Planning and packaging works that are safe, compliant, and profitable.
* Initiating and engaging external support to fill resource and skills gaps.
* Effectively communicating work packages to the Operations Manager for implementation.
* Advising senior leaders on the status and progress of future and current works.
* Negotiating, monitoring, and adjusting contract terms over the project lifecycle with clients.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or higher.
* A Diploma in Project Management or higher.
* Cert III in Rail Infrastructure or equivalent.
* Cert III in Rural Operations or equivalent.
* A Class C Drivers Licence.
* A General Induction card (White Card).
* Understanding of applicable legislation.
* Sound knowledge of rail construction and maintenance.
Desirable qualifications include demonstrated experience in a comparable position, RIW/RSW Card, network-specific inductions & competencies, sound knowledge of network rules and procedures, and First Aid Certificate.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as strong leadership and management abilities.
