**Role Purpose**:
Reporting to the Executive Head of Health for the Australian responsibilities, this role focuses on the Health Line of Business and aims to develop winning strategies and solutions to address the market, build and execute go-to-market and optimisation strategies, understand clients, customers, markets and technology in our business environment and support our sales efforts all to ensure a customer-centric, harmonised product portfolio.
**Key responsibilities include**:
**Strategic Market Planning**
- Define for the Health Line of Business, the market opportunities based upon competitor analysis and our strengths.
- Oversee creation of a market plan and product roadmap.
- Be an advocate to Regional Heads for the needs of the Australian Business Unit in the global strategy and budget (consolidation to occur by Corporate Strategy).
- Custodian of the Health strategic plan for Australia, responsible for co-ordinating across functions and ensuring alignment with Regional and Global Health strategy.
**Value Proposition Management (development and deployment)**
- Ensure a harmonised product portfolio that maximises cross channel distribution.
- Ownership and accountability for the Customer Journey and Experience Champion.
- Lead the development of new Value Proposition products and services to enhance our competitive position.
- Manage the launch and deployment for new products and new channels (Sales & Distribution sign-off / endorsement required, as they are responsible for Sales outcomes).
**Go-to
- Market Plans and Launch**
- Oversee development annual go-to-market plans for each product that meet the needs of Sales & Distribution growth ambitions.
- Responsible for ROI and Sales outcomes from marketing plans (B2C excluded).
**Compliance**
- Work closely with the Content Administrator in the Sales & Distribution team to ensure the process for content management and monitoring is optimized and managed appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and Allianz Partners global policies and functional rules, by implementing effective risk and compliance controls and reporting mechanisms and building a robust risk and compliance culture across your team.
**People Leadership**
- Leading a team, including managing and motivating in a results driven environment.
- Manage team performance individually and as a group to ensure KPI achievement.
- Build capability by supporting individuals and teams in their learning and development.
- Ensure key positions are always risk managed to prevent skill and knowledge gaps in teams and ensure appropriate strategies to assist with talent management, succession planning and team retention.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or combination of relevant education and work experience. MBA and advanced certifications preferred.
- Executive leadership /management experience, experience leading cross-functional teams with Agile methodology preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of multiple professional fields and the ability to integrate critical information from diverse areas.
- Ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives toward organizational goals.
- Leadership experience in ecommerce and insurance industry. Experience in travel industry preferred.
- A results driven, exceptional leader with proven ability to work strategically.
- Outstanding skills and proven success in the development, planning and execution of innovative marketing and branding strategies.
- Proven success in the development and execution of strategic value propositions, and execution of that strategy in market.
- A team orientated, collaborative and relationship focused approach, with the ability to support senior leadership teams at a strategic level to deliver results.
- Comprehensive knowledge and exposure to the financial services industry and insurance sector with an understanding of the market complexities and competitiveness.

- Highly developed negotiation and analytical skills, including the capacity to initiate creative and innovative thinking to support the organization to reach its objectives.
