Veteran Support Officer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Veteran Support Officer. This critical role plays an integral part in the establishment and functioning of embedded services on military bases, providing personalized support to veterans and their families.
As a Veteran Support Officer, you will work closely with team leaders to achieve directed tasks and ensure business targets are met. You will be responsible for maintaining the reputation of the organization within the community, being the first point of contact for members and their families.
You will provide high-quality, personalized service to current and former Australian Defence Force members, demonstrating leadership, mentorship, and guidance on matters relevant to our services and entitlements. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and veterans are essential in developing strong partnerships with key stakeholders.

* Providing advice and interpretation, including in writing, on complex aspects of legislation to clients and colleagues
* Developing strong partnerships with key stakeholders
* Working closely with relevant areas of Defence to support the delivery of services and activities
* Identifying individuals at risk or with high needs for referral support
* Representing the organization through outreach activities
To be eligible for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens, possess the capacity to travel, and hold a valid Australian Government Security Vetting Agency - Baseline Security Clearance. A current full or provisional Australian driver's license may also be required.
