About the Role

* We are seeking a qualified Nurse Consultant to provide clinical nursing expertise and leadership to our team.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting positive parenting and delivering universal and targeted programs.
* This role requires a significant degree of autonomy and clinical decision-making.
* The successful candidate will also be responsible for training and mentoring nursing staff, coordinating and providing relevant clinical resources, evaluating programs to ensure effective service delivery, and leading and coordinating projects and programs aimed at improving client and service outcomes.
About You
">
* To be successful in this role, you will have a registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate; or Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
* You will also have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards, effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, self-motivation, ability to accept responsibility, co-ordinate own activities, exercise judgement, initiative and meet deadlines, and ability in the leadership and facilitation of change management.
