Accounts Payable Officer Job Description
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Services team. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and amending supplier accounts across multiple financial systems, liaising with suppliers to ensure invoice compliance, responding to customer inquiries via phone and email, and working towards daily targets to contribute to team performance goals.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have previous experience in customer service, ideally in a call-centre setting, and background in Accounts Payable/Receivable or Financial Reporting. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with fast and accurate typing/data entry skills (minimum 40wpm) and confidence using MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel (Intermediate level).
Key Responsibilities:
Create and amend supplier accounts across multiple financial systems
Liaise with suppliers to ensure invoice compliance
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
Work towards daily targets to contribute to team performance goals
Reconcile supplier accounts (preferred)
