This role sits within our Enterprise Platforms team and you will work on an exciting project to replatform one of our core business systems. This is a 12-month contract role within a multi-year program, based in our Brisbane office. We offer a flexible, hybrid work environment that blends remote work with in office presence as needed to meet project deliverables. Please note, this role will be engaged as a contractor, on assignment at the Lottery Corporation through Hudson RPO.
What you’ll do
Work as part of a dedicated squad to replatform one of our core business systems in C++ and .NET Core.
Collaborate in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, XP) to deliver scalable software solutions aligned with business goals.
Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and front-end infrastructure using tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
Analyse requirements, design technical solutions, and support system integration across multiple business units.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the development lifecycle.
What you’ll bring
Extensive experience as a Senior Developer with strong proficiency in C++ and SQL Server.
Demonstrated ability to write high-quality, well-tested code, with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Proven track record working on large, complex backend systems.
Hands-on experience with .NET Core framework.
Familiarity with front-end infrastructure, tools, and testing, including GIT, DevOps practices, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
